Me I've been working like a trooper abroad and at home. 1 week in Italy and 1 week in Greece. Got home to find my car covered literally not only in bird shit but also squirrel shit... and whats got a hazel nut in every bite? The car is plastered in it. Everywhere. Plus with all the rain you've had there are imprints from the leaves all over the car. Luckily I used Chemical guys citrus wash and really soaked the car before mopping off with a microfibre. But I've still got to wash the car.
Anyway I knew and budgeted for 2 new fronts as my boots were looking sorry for themselves after 15K very hard driving. So took it in as usual. The drivers side locking wheel nut wouldn't budge. So out came the socket and a hammer, chissel (which the chissle split in half ), 6 drill bits and it was still in there tight. I had a go with disasterous consequences. So took it to another garage who've managed to get it off and replaced all the locking wheel nuts with standard nuts (thank god). But whilst this misadventure was going on my alloy was taking the brunt of the missed hammer throws and scrapes from the chissel and drill bits ect.
Long story short I now have a bent wing, damaged bumper, melted rubber on my passenger alloy from the van tyre I hit (which won't come off easily!) and now a completely ****ed alloy that looks like it came off an astra from Iraq.
So not a very happy return to the UK. Hoping things will get better?
So whats everyone else upto?
