    Flat spot on motorway

Whilst coming back home from work earlier the car twice had a flat spot. May sound stupid but it actually felt like you had just slammed the anchors on and then it was fine after about a second,i noticed that the revs didn't drop.I do regulary clean out the throttle body. Was thinking maybe to clean out the injectors with that crappy stuff that probably dont work (just to eliminate that cause) on my next run on monday?? its a 2001 1.8 coupe with no engine mods, anyone got any ideas, cheers
