    motorway driving

    hello, wats every ones astra's like on the motorway on rough surface, does the steering give abit of a wobble, and is it ok when driving on the smooth surface

    On the motorway your steering shouldn't change much at all...

    Budget tyres will affect the handling of any car.

    Putting decent boots on really improved the smoothness of mine.

    hello, it has the standard sri alloys 16 inch that come with the car as standard and it has michelin tyres all the way round and i just got all four wheels balanced last week end, its ok when driving on smooth road say on the motorway its just when road gets abit rough

    Mine wanders quite a bit when the tyres wear down. My fronts are down to just under 2mm (changing them next week), and it'll wander quite a bit.

    reguarding the shocks when the car was sat today i went to the front of the car and bounced the drivers side shocker, and when i pushed down on it and then let go it rised up and wobbled a few times and same on the passenger side but i went to the back and pushed down and it went down and came back up and settled
