    Turbo steering wheel painting..

I bought a turbo steering wheel a couple of months ago and it has that little grey piece at the bottom that matches the colour of the centre console, im looking to paint up the centre console the same colour as the car. Any tips on painting the grey bit on the wheel too?

    Cheers Craig.

    Leather can be recoloured.
It's not a case of just painting it tho, it needs to be stripped and repigmented.

I've had my Irmscher Steering wheel lightened slightly. To match my handbrake and gear knob.

I had it done professionally at the total cost of £15!

As for a local company that can do it for you.......Yellow pages?

If it's anything like the irmy one, the grey it will be plastic coated, so just key the plastic, mask up the rest of the wheels ond go nuts with the rattle can.

What colour is your car mate?

Steering wheel is leather, this won't work, you'll need it retrimmed.

    Or re-coloured.

I found a kit for £30, but i decided not to do it myslef and got a pro to do it.

    Retrimming it will be expensive.
