    Question Cigarette Lighter

    I know this might sound stupid but how do i get the Cigarette Lighter socket out. I took it apart yesterday but couldnt see how it comes out.

    All help appreciated.

    Have you got a Haynes manual? ( must have for any owner)
    Which part are you stuck on?
    Several screws hold the mount in but once there out of the was its a case of gental (< I know its spelt wrong but firefox wants to put genital)persuasion.

    I still have to get a haynes manual, its top of the list to get. I just wondered how it comes out. I only found two screws

    I think there were 2 at the top and 2 at the bottom ( behind the small tc pannel) then just gently lever/pull

    I undid the top two screws where are the clips holding it in??

    Down the sides.
    Look for the rectangle slots on each side, insert screwdrive (flatblade) and gengerly press sideways while pulling unit (help to be sat on passanger side.)
    Did you remove the lower pannel first?

    Yes i removed the lower pannel. I will have to give it another go when im off work next week
