    Yes Another Cruise Control Question

    Hi All

New to having a astra h sri ctdi anyway I have been reading on here all the posts on how to fit cruise control.

my question is being a deisel if I already have the clutch switch does that mean the wire is already plugged in or will I need to take out dials from dash to get to it ??

    Cheers

If you have a clutch switch it will be plugged in already the only thing that stops it from working is the fact the standard indicator is just plastic, whereas the CC stalk has metal conductors on it which connect up inside the steering column.

I have a real problem to remove old stalk from steering column (Astra-H) - please advice what to push/pull and from which side to swap for CC stalk.

    Thanks,

LEft hand stalk, obviously, its the indicator one.

On the bottom of the stalk you will see a recess, slide something small into that, and then pull away from steering column

Yeah left hand stalk, and at the bottom section is a small recess,

I ofund that a nice thin alan key did the trick here.
once the alan key is pushed all the way in the indicator stalk will pull out with ease - if not the clip isn't up enough push alan key further in.
