    heated front screen

    Is it at all possible to fit a heated screen element to the front screen, if so where would I get one from and is it a diy job, thanks

    I'm sure i've seen heated screen elements that you can buy but usually the headted front scenns have such fine elements that they can't really be seen easy so I think it would be a non starter

    I remember rear ones being sold years ago, just wondered with technology these days if front ones were now being done

    May be able to get a glass firm to custom build you a screen with the heated elements, but can't see it being a DIY job. The heated strips are so thin you can hardly see them, let alone stick them to a window.

    I thought the ford element were built into the screen. My friend hit a pigeon in his fiesta st and mullered the screen, I think he paid over 500quid to replace it (screen not pigeon)

    Yeah they are, dad had them on his old Mondeo.
