    english drivers in ireland(taxwise)

    hi guys
    just got a query about taxing my car, now at the minute i am using my uk car in ireland(work) and it needs taxing. is it ok for me to take a spin upto northern ireland and tax it there. also can you still tax it at any post office.

    If you have the normal form they post out, your insurance and MOT if you have one, then any major post office can tax it. Newry would be your best bet.

    Don't be tempted to not tax it - An Garda Síochána have finally got their finger out and can add points etc to UK licences. Plsu you'll get the automated fine at your UK address too.
