can someone tell me if my car will be ok without the heat shield on covering the manifold...?????

took it off today cos its a mess so though i may as well replace it with a new one.

Just want to know if it will be ok for a week or so without it on?

    Thanks

    Thanks mate....

The orignal i took has been painted, but i think it looks tacky, done it a metallic grey, nice shine to it but doen't suit the rest of the engine.

Next question if you can help, Where can I find a polised stainless replacement?

I've searched ebay and cant find one!
