    G to H key mod

Just trying to do this mod at the moment

How long does it take just to get the bloody thing open! been slicing at it with a sharp scalpel for ages and its not having any of it! damn vauxhall for making things too well!

Anyone got an easier way / trick to doing this?

surely you can buy a key and barrel for a astra h and make it fit the astra g? or even from a vectra b? then you wouldnt have the 'wide key' issues

But you'd still need to open the key to fit the PCB + transponder chip from the MK4 key
