    Smile new interior

A few days ago, I finally got the last parts needed to finish off the interior that I actually purchased a few weeks before PV, way back in late May. So as it was nice and sunny today, I though I'd get rid of the mongrel interior that I've had to bear for what seems like ages and get the damn thing finished off.

Trying to get hold of all the bits has been one of the most long winded and infuriating things I've ever done to any car, and almost led to me selling the damn thing I've been that pissed off with the whole affair!! Anyway, 'tis done now, so here's the piccies....

Even got the backseats to match too

Yeah yeah, it's all been done before I hear you say, but has anyone yet done matching door cards...

And a matching armrest lid, a small but essential detail IMO

I'm very pleased with the way it's turned out but as this saga has been going on for the best part of 5 months, it's somewhat detracted from any achievement or pleasure from seeing it done

Geoff, I absolutely love your attention to detail. The armrest and doorcards look smashing mate. The seats are awesome.

PS Nice too see a doorcard full of flyers lol

Bye bye VXR Castle Combe Edition - because it's done more laps of Castle Combe than most Bergs have of the Ring

Danny: He sure did!! Eddies been an absolute diamond in trying to get this sorted - I got the replacement seat a couple of weeks ago

Only after all the kuffuffle I ended up with 3 LH adaptor bars and one RH, so had to wait for another RH one - and the postal strike delayed that a bit

What he said Looks fantastic mate.

One question: How comfy are these particular seats comapared to your standard seats? Or havent you had time to test them fully?

I've actually had the recaro drivers seat and standard passanger seat fitted for over 6 weeks, so I've been able to compare quite easily by just getting in the other side .

In all honesty, I alwys found the standard seats very comfy, but the recaros are on a totally different level - you sit in them rather than on them. The passenger seat has been in the lounge for a good few months (waiting for bits) and has been my chair of choice when relaxing, and now I'm gonna have to get used to the settee again
