    Pic Request : ECO4 Owners

Any chance some of you lovely ECO4 owners could take some pics of the underside of your car, yes i know not the easiest thing to take a pic off but if you could it would be great Particularly interested in the centre section where the underbody deflectors are. Never managed to see any pics of them yet or one in the flesh so trying to see a bit more before i go down this route. Thanks!

Yup Hadnt given them too much thought for a while but was looking at them again after some rough numbers work. If they drop the Cd by the same amount on the 3dr as on the 5dr they should drop the drag area/force of drag by about 8%. Already have an ECO4 spoiler sitting here, seems silly to fit it without the deflectors.

Thanks for the pic Sir, they dont seem to cover as much of the chassis as i had expected (could just be the perspective). Now i wonder where the mounting brackets attach to and if they come with the deflectors?

its wierd, how far could they have gone with the fuel efficiency???? obviously a completely flat floorpan would have been the best option, but how far can yo go with this,, could you beat the book mpg figures???

The ECO4 wasnt just the spoiler and the underside bodypans... The gear ratio is different aswell, its a lot wider than a standard 1.7 DTi..
So you will not get the gains from it as much as if you would have the wide ratio box.

The little rubber things that hang down are missing - they're unfront of the fuel tank on mine, I guess to stop stuff hitting the tank. The metal jobby would do the same job without ruining the airflow.
