    Fuel Consumption

    After some advice

I run a GSI MK4 with the full CS4 package from courtenay so basically everything has been done and is running around 287bhp 330lb of torque.

Want to know what kind of miles I should be getting to say £20 of V-Power priced at 102.9. Or if you know what mpg i should be looking at if its easier?

Not sure at the moment if it's over fuelling. Thought it may have been the AFM but not showing any other signs of problems on the engine management system.

Can anyone let me know what I can try or answer any of the following questions?

    Cheers

Nothing wrong there m8, i get around 60-70miles on a tenner. Best i've ever done was 340 miles on a tank, worked out at 34ish MPG

    I average 34 mpg.

And that's without going on a motorway or fast A road.

at the moment i get about 50 miles to a tenner which doesnt seem the best and thawts easy driving, what usually causes bad mpg?

as seems like it may be over fuelling slightly as driving sensibly after a while the idle position goes funny and then it seems like its slightly flooded?

I only get aroung 210miles from a tank around town.
Stop - start is what causes a lot of mine.

I found a good way of checking was to compare your average speed on the trip computer to the mpg. You'll fing your mpg is a lot worse the lower your average speed is.
