    After a DIY Alloy Refurb

Been a while since my astra saw the board, so i thought i stick it up now, after i spent hours refurbing the corsa rims i picked up for 40quid. Still pretty standard, but dont want to get too extreme yet, thinking about changing to a 3door sxi, but at 17, insurance is crazy atm

Sorry for the dodgey quality, taken with my Nokia N80

get yourself some masking fluid and brush it onto the griffin (with a fine brush obviously ) then spray away.. the masking fluid should rub off afterwards and thus the griffs won't get painted

either that, or just colour code them and say it was a deliberate and subtle mod

Looks good, sih I could have had such a nice car at 17.

As for the caps, if you take them off you can see what you ahve to deal with on the back of them. Sometimes they just have spring tabs, some are plastic rivited in. I just had a look at the ones on my partners car, they just have two holes on the back where you can see the silver of the badge, could try pushing them out from the back of the cap as they could be platic rivited, then just re-glue them back on when your done.

I really do pay the price for the car at 17 though, second driver and still 1600 a year.

I wouldn't mind taking the griffins off, but id only be a little reluctant cos i risk breaking it when taking it off, if thats possible. Ill try it with one of my bro's caps 1st lol. Keep y'all updated
