    sun visor tvs

    hi got some sun visor tvs just havent got a clue how to wire them they have got a red wire yellow wire blue wire and black i rekon black is earth and red is (+) but what do i do and what are the other wires

    Generally in the car stereo market Black as you say is earth, Yellow will be permement live and the Red is accessory

    I think one of the wires is to connect to the hand brake, so that it cannont be used when mooving. Cant remember what wires i had in mine, but instructions were fairly easy.

    id hazard a guess at.....

    red and yellow being permenant and switched live, unsure which way round, different manufacturers have different ideas on which is which. just a matter of trial and error.

    black will be ground (or earth).

    and as said above blue is most likely supposed to be linked into the handbrake bulb circuit, but you can just ground this wire to over ride this function.

    Just wondering, how much did they cost you? Are they a direct fit to where the old ones are? and are they just a screen or TV tuner in with a screen?
