    Airbag removal

    Hi Guys,

I currently own a MK4 Astra coupe and my mate has a 3dr hatch. He is trading in his car and mentioned if i need anything. My airbag is ripped where the horn is and fancy the ol switcheroo....

I have the guide to completly change the sterring wheel but have a couple of questions someone here might be able to help with.

    1. I presume you disconnect the battery entirly? how long for?

    2. Can you drive the car without the airbag in place for a day without any repercussions? (bag doing off in your face once connected?

    cheers fella for that.

Just been told a tip to disc battery and put the lights on, that gets rid of anything on the system, so its a case of that and a cup of tea....
