    Spoiler dillema

The previous owner of my coupe put an evo style spoiler on:

I wasn't keen as it was just too big so I bought this to replace it:

I then removed the evo spoliler:

However the new spoiler is about 2cm too wide for my car & doesn't sit correctly. So I am now wanting to sell both the spoilers I have & get an irmy style one. The choices I had were as follows:
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWA:IT&ih=013
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWA:IT&ih=020

Will a saloon spoiler fit a coupe without any problems and what do you think of the choices I am considering? I am thinking subtle will look better

Good to see that the oversized one has gone. Coupe looks best with no spoiler at all imo, though a lip spoiler is also nice.

Yeah I would have left it without, but there are 4 holes in the bootlid & it looks unsightly

Instead of spending money on a spoiler and paint for that, why don't you get the holes smoothed over? Get the rear badge holes done at the same time and you could remove that opel badge for a nice smooth look. The holes may not match up with a replacement spoiler anyway...

Good idea, poll added. How much would you think that would cost?

if your after subtle i think the lip spoiler could look good on yours getting it smoothed in at the same time as getting the holes smoothed over and the opel badge removed. think that'd look good! could ask if any1 with photoshop would give you a lip spoiler with the badges removed.

Not sure, but I doubt it'd cost that much. Best get some quotes from nearby bodyshops for an idea of cost, as prices can vary quite a bit.

As mentioned before, lip spoiler is another subtle option to consider. Like Hep says, could get that sorted at the same time

if you do have the opel badge removed it might look better to take the chrome strip off aswell, it wouldnt have anything else chrome to match up to. you thought about smoothing the boot off completely whilst its going to a bodyshop ?

Sell both spoilers and use the money from them towards getting all the holes in your boot filled and sprayed.

I think I will have the chrome strip sprayed black for the stealth look
