    Snowflake alloys

    just a quick question..i want to know if 19" snowies will fit on a mk5 astra hatch..

    will i have to do some modifing or will they go straight on..

    tyre size 235/35/19

    they will fit fine unless you decide to drop the thing to the ground

    I've got 225/35/18 and still got loads of room, plus the front end of the car is the same as the VXR and it comes with a factory option of 19"

    yeah i am running lower offset, vxr kit and those width tyres and have trialed a 60mm drop - it moved just not very much room to do much ! lol

    nah i have no plans of droppin it ...

    o yeh i have done my 1st ever mod on my car..
    a VXR intake there is difference in lower gear feels way way smoother than before

    Got to lower it onto large alloys, looks like a 4x4 truck otherwise ! Even -30mm springs will help !

    Agree with the above, eibach -30mm springs - superb and for £150 cant grumble imo

    also i would recommend these (30 - 50 drop: which would still be ok in ur case) http://www.lmfvauxhall.co.uk/store/p...at=1300&page=2

    but i would recommend you change your shocks at the front to deal with it.
