    Question koni suspension help??

    i have just brought a 2.0 turbo convertible but atm i have a 1.6 hatch sport which i have koni suspension on it but i was wondering if i could take these off my hatch and put them on my convertible will it work?

    I would not attempt it as out of all the mk4's the turbo cab has the highest axle weight,this would compress your springs and dampers beyond the point that the manufacture designed it to resulting in poor handling

    I would possibly say that Springs - No way, Dampers why not. I only say that because the Koni FSD's I have are suitable for all Mk4's except estate. Just the springs which are specific to the axle weight.

    Try shopping for the Koni model you have and see specifically which models they are for.
