power invertor Vs live feed/cig lighter.

your opinions, + and - for both,

have hard wired ps2 slim, cig lighter adaptor. been nicked so do i get another slim and plug in,

or invertor and fat ps2, its better with ejecting drawer in glove box.

say no now to hard wire adapting fat version. done before and blown. that why got slim.

    cheers.

The fat ps2's need a power board soldered on to be able to run on 12v, the actual cig lighter invertors run the car battery down

I sell leads that replace the power supply board for £12 so no need for an inverter.

Get one of Lee's leads. Piece of piss to fit, and a lot better than having an inverter causing interference.

Just make sure you wire the + & - the correct way, as the instructions state very clearly that if done wrong the PS2 will blow up.
