Fitted tinted lights.... but now the bonnet wont shut.

As per title really. Fitted some tinted healights yesterday everything works well and looks good but the bonnet takes alot more force to actually shut. Any ideas on what could be causing the problem?

I'm thinking that the lights might need moving lower down or something, anybody had a similar problem?

sounds like the bottom bracket is too far forward on the headlights (bracket behind the bumper)

take off the bumper and loosen this nut then close the bonnet and align as necessary

Ok great, will give that ago. Now have the joy of removing the bumper again. Any tips for the pins underneath, they were a right pain.

Also what are the chances of the lights not being aligned properly? where should I go to get them aligned again?

Any MOT centre should be able to align them, as they have the machine to do the MOT test with.

As for the bumper pins, did you jack the car up? Would make access to them easier.

leave the bottom pins in place - if you remove the secrets in the arches and the two clips under the grill, you'll be able to pull the bumper forwards far enough to get your mitts at the bottom headlight bolts
