Out of those 2 Id opt for the second one for 2 reasons.

    1. Its Stainless as opposed to mild steel on the Sportex
    2. Its got a straight through centre section which is always a good thing in my books.

If ur not bothered about stainless then you can get a sportex racing tube (exactly the same as a remus race pipe) [ie the straight thru centre section] for £49 from www.tuning.co.uk but its mild steel - mate this up with a sportex box and ur sorted for approx £150

Or for a little less £142.95 u can get a stainless centre section with mild steel rear box from GT3 on ebay... Ive got this and its top notch IMO

(Various tailpipes available - just ask the seller and he should accomodate)

its up to u - straight thru centre sections (ie without a silencer) produces a nice throaty rumble

middle silencer is optional so not a legal requirement

totally depends on what sound u want...if u want a middle box then no point getting a new one unless the old one is rotten

well if u dont want it loud - or at least throaty shall we say then an uprated backbox would be ideal.

As i said above mine is a GT3 system - about £100 for just the rear box... Sportex and similar budget branded non-stainless ones can be had for approx the same price. Stainless ones cost about £130 upwards.

If u just go for backbox only then make sure u get the correct fitment to match it up with ur existing centre section.
It'll be either a 2bolt flange design (youll see 2 springs and bolts securing one section to another) the other design is a sleeve fitment where one pipe slips over the other and is secured by a U-clamp. The flange is the most common fitment though but just make sure before ordering.

Also make sure u buy a hatch exhaust as cab/coupe/saloon ones are longer.
