I'm paying a garage £385 to remove the old engine and put a new one in to my MK3 Astra 1.6i ecotech. If you get it done at a garage, the work is warranted

i just done a swap.put a 2.0l i in to my 1.4 8v,was prity simple anyways, hardist bit was geting the engine and gearbox out in one.
had to lift it with the engine hoist and lift the cabelt side at the same time to bring it out on an angl.after that it was just teathing problems

p.s had to use the 2.0l serspension struts as the 1.4 drive shaft socets r diferent

    hope this helps
