    removing cat converter

Guys someone told me removing the cat converter from the car makes a slight noticable difference in power which may be worth doing if it doesnt do any damage to the car. The only thing I don't want is my car to sound like some 'chaved up' Saxo and people thinking look at that boy racer. Does it sound like that?

it will fail on emmisions at MOT and will throw on your diagnostic light which will loose you power unless you get it blanked off.

i just fitted a full exhaust system to a clio 182 which was a complete pain in the arse and it came with a decat pipe which we decided not to put on as its just more hassle when it comes to MOT and diagnostic lights

Do you mind paying the fine when you fail a roadside emissions test?
