    Mk4 Coupe Clutch

    Hi all,

got a bit of an issue with the clutch on my coupe, it seemed alright the other week, and now it seems to have gone a bit heavy, and it doesn't go down quite as easy as it used to, and it seems to be sticking slightly.

Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem, or has any ideas on how to solve it, apart from having a new clutch fitted, which would be a last resort, after finding out the price and the labour costs .

    Cheers

Sound's more like a master cylinder/fluid problem than the actual pressure and friction plate's.

    Try bleeding the clutch.

Release bearing's a possibility aswell but i'm not a mechanic.

i know the bearings is on its wy out by the noise the clutch makes when you press the pedal, but I've not got a clue how to bleed the clutch.

Can anyone give me any pointers?
