    Which sensor is this?

On the X16SZR engine, sensor is attached to the back of the air box lid itself, it slides on to it and there is a pipe going from it to the rear of the throttle body / manifold, I think this is whats causing the problem with my revs sticking. Have changed everything else.

    Anyone know what it is?

    thanks.

its just the carbon cannister solenoid - very unlikely its the cause of your problems....

Cant believe this still aint been resolved... u must have replaced every sensor on the car

Well if ur considering the crankshaft speed sensor - theres a couple on the bay at the mo...for very different prices. Not sure what the stealers charge but even the cheapie may be worth a punt.

Cheers geordie, I'll try the el cheapo as you say its worth a shot, really really stumped now, all started just after a new alternator and thermostat, maybe the alternator spiked when it died and fried a few sensors, I just dont know, if I dont sort it soon the cars going I know that.
