Problem with wheel bolt not staying tight?

A while ago i started a thread about missing a wheel bolt (came to the conclusion that it was poss someone trying to nick my wheels) since then i have being checking my wheels every couple of days to make sure all the bolts are nice and tight and things which all but one are, there is one bolt that will not stay tight, it stays in the hole but is not tight if that makes sense?

What can i do about this, called my local vauxhall place and they said ill need a new hub and it would be £xxx + £xxx labour to do

Just wondering if anyone has had this problem before and how they sorted it?

I dont like the idea of a loose bolt on my wheel and when im driving i am constanly thinking about it!

The car is a 2003 1.8 coupe if that helps?

    Thanks

I know this sounds obvious, but have you tried a different bolt in that hole?

At least that way it would tell you whether it was the hub or bolt at fault.

Not that hard to change a hub, took me about 30 minutes and i'd never done it before.

Hardest bit was getting the nut off the track rod end, you've got to make sure the thread's are really clean.

    Assuming it's the front's, rears are even easier, only 4 bolt's, take's about 20 min's all in.

no - thread lock is not a solid glue - its to stop things moving out of the thread - used to use it on nitro cars as vibrations would release the screws
