    drove a corsa VXR today

My uncle has got a corsa VXR in red (no pics sorry) he went for the 18's (with the new finish on them) and a few other extras.

Nice car to drive, impressed with the engine but wasnt impressed with seats. They are not particularly supportive or comfortable, although they do look very nice!.

I was also surprised at how large the dashboard is and how much room is in the engine bay!

you can drive it like any other small engined car but put your foot down and it really pulls, i liked the fact it was very versatile in that way, although the exhaust note was not as good as the astra VXR.

The only other thing I was slightly dissapointed with was the paint finish, I wouldnt have been happy with it - however they are

I wouldnt say orange peel, but almost like a not so great respray - almost too much paint or not enough cutting back before polish... hard to describe like a mild form of orange peel.

Not sure if i like them the agressive bumper styling taken from the Veccy and Astra VXR's doesnt work too well with the shape but i bet theyre damn good to drive. Presumably the astra 1.6t will be just as versatile too?
And i do like the seats, but if theyre not very good then they're a bit pointless

My exact thoughts on the Seats as well. As you know I was quite annoyed at PV about how much better they looked then the Astra VXr seats, till I drove the corsa and then though nope I think the Astra seat are more comfy for me.

But I man what a cracking little car.

Did you stick it into any bends? I thought it handled beautifully, very well balanced.

Seating position in the Corsa is far superior to the Astra though imo.
