Fitted smoked lights and bluetooth kit today (pics inside)

    Hi all,
Came across a bargain for smoked lights for my astra, the "elderly gentleman" obviously didnt know how sought after these are, he was only asking £50 for all 4 with bulbs. Been onthe look out for these for some months now, so i snapped them up and got on with fitting them today.

Also bought myself a sony ericsson hcb-300 bluetooth handsfree kit, rather pay 45 now then 60 and 3 points later! was nice and easy to fit, with the control unit hidden in the speace by the gear linkage under the ashtray arean and the mic running up the drivers 'A' post.

    Anyway onto pics:

    After:

    Handsfree kit:

You can see the speaker on the right in the footwell on the last pic, this is only temporary as ive got an autoleads adapter on order so the sound will come through the speakers.

All in all, im a happy little person today

lights look good mate, top bargain hunting. Good work on the handsfree too, will definately be worth the £45 as opposed to copping a fine & points, as you say...

One thing that concerns me a little though, I know its only temporary, but surely it's not a good idea to put the speaker in the drivers footwell, as it would not only get in your way of the footrest, but be a hazard should it come undone or if you catch you foot on it whilst driving...

it will still be loud enough to hear if you move it to the passenger footwell if thats your thinking behind its current location

no need to feel silly, its just natural to fit it as close as possible

just thought I'd put safety first and post mentioning it

Handsfree was from ebay, just make sure you buy it from the seller advertising as new and not the one saying 'slightly used' 'refurbished'
