    Question Upgrading to VXR Turbo (DIY jobbie)

    im going to be changing my turbo for the VXR as the old ones damaged!

    Had anyine got the how to from zlet.co.uk?

    If not, what do i need to do in terms of changing the oil/water feeds???

    its a straoght forward swap m8 everything is the same as in oil and water feeds just make sure you put the bung in the same port on new 1 on the water side and also replace the washers between the banjo bolts and turbo on the oil and water

    I though that there was a difference between the standard turbo and the VXR turbo - something to do with a blanking plate having to be moved to a different position!

    Anyone got the zlet guide as this was really good!?

    When you take your old turbo off you and put them side by side you will see the water pipe that needs to be swapped.

    if you have aircon, prepare to be "forceful" to get your turbo out. mine need a good yanking to get past the aircon pipes.
