    In car pc screen

I am going to be putting a in car pc in my car. I am looking for in dash monitors fixed not motorised with USB connection so that if the screen is touched then it acts as a mouse.

Does anyone have one and can post me a pic and let me know the make and model

Or anyone know anywhere which sells this type of screen

    Thanks in advance Danny

There are quite a few touchscreens on eBay. Sometimes its harder to find one that isn't a touch screen

i know there is i need one which USB connection which allows the function of the touch screen to act as a mouse.

There is ones with USB but only for mass storage devices i need a connection to the usb on a pc so it then rules out keyboard and mouse.

    Thanks Danny

Like this one? Even comes with a stylus http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/7-TFT-LCD-Stan...QQcmdZViewItem
Would just need the dash mount removing so it can be fiberglassed into center console (if thats what your planning on doing?)

    Or this one?

Mine is an 8" 4:3 ratio screen. Can't remeber the brand tbh, but I don't think it is particularly relevant these days as most of the internal parts are the same. Cost about 50 quid for the screen.

scotty boy like yours a lot i want to keep my heaters tho so thinking of losing the 2nd din slot to make up the space. Also why have a head unit also if using a pc i dont see the point if there is one let me know. I very much do like the pods at the top of the dash they really set it off.

You'll still need a headunit to run your speakers/amps, unless you plan on somehow doing it from the PC.

Best way IMO would be to plug the PC into the AUX IN on a headunit, then use the H/U to power your speakers + amps.

I was thinking of using a decent sound card which should be better then a head unit.
