    Thumbs Up

Yea.. Id say dont do it... Its far cheaper overall to save up and get it done professionally...
The side windows are ok but the back window.. it being slightly curved is a pain to do... at least if you get it done professionally you get some comeback if it goes wrong...

The £50 or so extra to get someone else to do it.. far outweighs the aggro of doing it yourself...

If you cant afford it... then just make sure you take plenty of time and use plenty of water to give you room to adjust it when its applied...

    Good luck..

it can be done right, if you spend enough time.

I did mine about 8 months ago. It was about £12 for a 6m roll off ebay. I did all my side windows. (not back so when police follow they dont think your car is tinted ) Im glad i did it my self because I saved over £150

If you spend long enough it can look good. I didnt quite get the bottom edge near the door lock correct. so on my passenger door it is sort of flicking up.But im not bothered for £12.

The trick is lots of water (with a small amount of fairy liquid) and a lot of patience, and make sure you cut the template right !!

If you buy some film, it will have instructions in anyway.

oh also, it really is a 2 person job. one to hold the film and one to move the window up and down and squirt water etc.

just completed mine last week , i'd say the trick to the froont windows is to take them out, i know it takes longer but its a much better finish !

i recently had my window put through and i found it difficult to put back in with out the glass toching the metal door frame

was thinking about tinting the class before putting it in but began to rain.

how did you get the glass in without scratching the tint
