Bought a new push bike yesterday...

...not for me, but for the other half.

Not sure if it was a good idea, but now instead of moaning at me for going out on my bike, she can join me. yeh right

She has been hankering after a bike for a little while, and I know this was really the one she wanted. Not because its a good bike, but because its purple
This one came up at a stupidly low price. Couldnt say no.

Its a 2006 Kona Lisa HT. Complete overkill for what Lauren will be using it for too.

Obligatory pictures below. Apologies for quality - taken on my phone.

    Mine and hers.

Shaun, Only reason I paid what I did for it was because it was an unwanted present. didnt owe any money to the previous owner and has been used for less than 5 hours! I made a cheeky offer and it was accepted.

Wait till the rain and mud sets in then you'll want a good set of discs! I've always got on well with V's but i've always ridden street and trials and in the dry, but after one XC ride in the wet and the V's were gone!

Good spec, maybe not so for £700 but for what you payed its great, and it's nice to see a consistent shimano spec for once, usually you get a half decent rear mech then some cheaper shifters and front mech slapped on because they think noone looks at them.

Edit: Shaun, if you want cheaper bikes look on www.paulscycles.co.uk - loads of previous season stuff for good prices on there.
