The traction control and Abs lights are linked. If one comes on then so will the other.

Sounds like a possible wheel speed/hub sensor problem.

Try using the search function on the forum as I'm sure this problem has been discussed before.

And as Moony says, TC and ABS systems linked.

i've currently got this problem with my astra G... but they only come on when the car has been left over night or after a days work!

it's been into the garage and they've said that is something to do with the TC and ABS wires linking to the wheel hub....

they've said they'll have to strip down the hub but it wont damage the car driving it with the lights on!

    WTF??? AFM???

How does that affect your TC or ABS???

I know the TC and ABS are linked but I would be more inclined to think it's the ABS

if you had a z20let you may have experienced this its a common fault. ive had my car 5 years, its happened once, but some have had it happened many times.

Yes, another possibility and a few users on here have had this before.
Its just one of those things that a seemingly unrelated part can throw up a certain warning light, the same way that a nearly completely knackered AFM may not show up any warning lights at all.
