    mk4 GSi tyres....opinions please

need to purchse some new tyres, just wondered if anyone is using these at the moment, and what they are like.

    1. Avon ZZ3 - £70.10
    2. Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 - £74.20

if you know of another tyre (in the same sort of price range) which is better please let me know.

(swaying towards the goodyear only because i prefer the tread pattern, bit silly i know but hey)

    cheers

Out of those 2, it would be the goodyears.
Why not opt for Dunlop SP9000's?

I have the Goodyear GSD-1 on my Zafira and there decent and ive got about 13k miles outta them and still ok although do get abit slippy in the wet, but i paid £160 for 2 off ebay but i have slightly different size that you would with the Astra.

Bridgestone Potenza RE050A. Best tyre on the market, bar none.

Good enough for Ferrari and Porsche, I guess it's good enough for an Astra.

    How about Uniroyal Rainsports....?

I have had Dunlop SP9000's and though they wre good both in the dry and wet

I have had Avon ZZ3's and again cheaper than the SP9000's and performed just as well

I just got some Uniroyal Rainsports that I am goig to try, but going by the recomendations on mytyres and from users on here that are great.
