    Glove Box Interior

I've got a 2002 Coupe Turbo and it has a built in Philips 4 x CD Changer built into the glovebox.

I'd like to change it for an aftermarket Alpine changer, but the glovebox interior has a compartment specifically moulded for the Philips.

Is there a replacement Glovebox interior that doesn't have this and is it easy to change?

Is there also easy access from behind the glovebox to the back of the headunit for wires, etc?

    Cheers
    Craig

You can buy a plain open glovebox from lower model astras to fit your cd changer in and yes it easy access behind there for headunit wires.

I did this, it cost me about £30, you can change the door on the front so the colour does not matter.

You can just pull the cd changer out, well you could on my cdx ... a good tug and it should come the only difference between that one and my sxi was my the fact that one had a shelf insert and the other had a cd insert. Just go pull the changer out!

I did this - ditch the CD changer and glove box interior (you can re-use your lid). Much much more space!
