In a bit of a state of shock...

Got a call at work today to say a guy Ive met a few times has been found dead at Fleet Services...like 5 mins away from my house Initially it was said that it was an accidental drugs overdose, but its not anymore.

Whats worse, is that a 17 year old who Ashlie knows really well, has been arrested about his murder.

People are gutted, basically because he was a young dad of two, the youngest being about a year old, and he was such a nice guy.

He did used to be a bit of a scally, but had calmed down so much since the birth of his kids...its such a waste of a life that will affect so many.

    RIP Rattie

    Tuesday depressing story over

Latest info I have, is the 17 year old has been released...not sure if hes on bail or what, but surely of they thought it was him, they would have remanded him?

Innocent until proven guilty and all that, Ashlie cant believe he would do such a thing....but you just never know these days do you?

If he's at the scene they may take him in for questioning. He maybe innocent and saw it happen or discovered his friend after the attack and phoned the police and ambulance. You never know.

    Recent press release..

Police were called to the hotel at about 6pm following reports that a man had collapsed.

On arrival they discovered that Mr Lucas had died.
A post mortem examination carried out by a Home Office pathologist yesterday found the cause of death to be indeterminate, but it was not due to any injury or illness.
Police said toxicology tests would now be conducted to establish the cause of death.
Detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding Mr Lucas' death.
A 17-year-old boy from Fleet arrested on suspicion of murder has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
Well thats got to be some relief to his girlfriend.
