vxr actuator and vxr injectors on cs2??

right, i have spent too many hours searching this subject and cant get a straight off answer my missus is getting the hump with me on here for hours! lol

so i am going to ask!

here are my mods and power is in my sig

cs2, custom 3" from turbo blueflame exhaust inc. sports cat, courtenay panel filter, irdium plugs, larger inlet pipe and de-restricted air box, front mounted intercooler.

i dont quite want stage 3/4 yet, but basically i would like to know if having the vxr injectors and vxr actuator/-34/-31 fitted will do me any harm? my astra got 256bhp and want it rounded off to 260/265bhp i have a std turbo still.

i am new to turbo info so this may seem silly? so far i have read that more boost requires more fuel. so fitting the injectors will help? actuator give a little more boost and hold it better?

i have also seen courtenays do vxr injectors fitted for £100, i take it they sort out the ecu?

i hope someone can help. i am now off to put the kettle on and make me and the miss a tea and maybe watch a film

    thanks

I would say on stage 2 the best mod you could do would be putting the vxr turbo on.

Injectors are only really required for stage3-4 even then not essential.

But that is just my two cents and what I would probably do

£100 will be just the price for injectors + fitting I would guess. Would still need to be remapped.

IMO its not worth doing it unless you have the uprated turbo and want stage 4.

There is no need to fit the bigger injectors on a CS2 as the standard ones can flow enough fuel.

If you fitted them you'd need a new map and one does not exist because of the reason above.
Tell me what you've done, not what you're going to!

i just want to spend a few hundred pound rather than a £1000 on stage 4 just give me that little bit more. 260/265bhp sounds better than 256 maybe i should look into porting out top hat? or bmc filter? if i went stage 4 i would want the clutch too which would total cost of 1500! i think i would be pushing my luck with the missus. lol

cheers for the replies so far

Your willing to spend a few hundred pound for an extra 4bhp?

Just wait for a cold day and get the car RR'd again and you will probably have 260bhp

no point wiv injectors std let are good up to 300 bhp the only way to get 350 would be huge great turbo but then you get huge lag and a huge amount of nos but then you will not be able to get traction so unfortunatly looks like a winning lottery ticket m8
