I heard some, what sounded like, metal on metal screeching today while going round a roundabout. So when I got home I got the car in the air. All the pads are fine, but when I removed the calipers off my drivers side front (that disc was really hot!) and spun the wheel it made a god-awful screeching from what sounds like the back of the hub. This doesn't happen on the off side.
1. Is this my bearings?
2. Can I still drive it?
3. Is this expensive to get fixed?
4. Can I do it myself, if so do I need to buy the whole hub?
Any help would be really appreciated!
