the dipped beam and main beam plugs are the same shape/size so u can only get these 2 mixed up....

try em and see what u get.

the projector should come on with dipped
the one where u can see the bulb itself should come on with main beam

You shouldnt be able to as they have tabs inside the plug so they only fit to the right socket BUT my ones had the plugs swapped round so they were wired wrong and so did a few others a while ago.

ah well....mine did anyway hence why i had one dipped and one main when i first connected mine aaaaaages ago.

now residing in a box in my garage cos they are soooo shite

Personally Id test each circuit for continuity off the car... ie attach a 12v source to each plug at a time and see if the respective light lights up correctly.

Side light = halos (they stay illuminated all the time the lights are on)
Dipped beam = projector lens (outside lamp)
High beam = plain lamp (inner lamp)

I would post a pic, but the P.Bucket is down!

I wouldn't fit blue bulbs to the halos as only the poilice are allwed to show a blue light on a car.

wreksta: u need to remember dipped is normal headlights and main is main beam (main beam/high beam - same thing) ie - lighting up the road for short periods or flashing someone in.

when u said main earlier in the thread u meant dipped which could actually be causing u unncessary confusion...

My advice is forget about it for tonight - start afresh another day when u have the pacience as it can easily throw u especially if youve been at it all day.

    FK angel eye wiring colurs:

Yellow and black = dipped beam
White and black = high beam
    Green and black = indicator
    Grey and black = sidelights

The plugs for the indicator and sidelights are uniques so can't be mixed up, only the first two can.
