    Oil Level Sensor Removal Question

Does anyone know how to remove the wiring loom plug from the sump of a Z20LET for the oil level sensor?

Its the bit attached to the sump at the front of the engine that the wiring loom plugs into.

I need to remove it so I can give the sump case a really good clean. The sump case is off the engine but I dont want to start cleaning it with the oil level sensor bit left on.

There was a round clip on the outside which came off really easy but the actual plug bit still doesn't want to come off the sump case.

    Any ideas?

    Cheers

Doesn't the connector just push back into the sump after the external clip is removed as per manual?
