    Air-Con Drain Point

    Hello,
can anyone tell me where the excess water drains from on the air-con system. Noticed a small puddle on the drive the other day after the wife had taken the car out came from somewhere under the battery. I have noticed it before but it doesnt happen regularly. Just wondered if the water drained from round this area rather than through the exhaust like fords etc. do.
Any info would be greatfully recieved.

Yes m8, nothing to worry about it's just the air con condenser draining. I remember the first time i saw it and panicked all over the place because I thought something was wrong with my car

The aircon condenser and pipe work will accumulate ice and when it heats up you'll get a puddle of water. But its perfectly normal. The aircon system does not have any drain points at all. The only points the aircon has are lower pressure and high pressure points to enable you to refill it.
    Hope that helps fella

The Evaporator gets cold, the condenser gets hot.

The heaterbox (where the evaporator is) drain is just above the PAS rack.

The drain is for the evaporator not the pipe work, the condensor will get warm not cold, thats why is close to the rad. As said it hangs down between the back of the engine and the bulkhead/firewall.
