Steinmetz orfor me.
Once sprayed body colour they do look better esp black
Personally I don't like theor Steinmetz ones on the mk5 - it looks like the grill has fallen off leaving a huge gap.
I also dislike the standard chrome one but colour coding it is the way forward - looks as the car should imo.
Previous Astras: 1994 Cesaro 1.8 16v | 2002 SXi 1.6 16v | 2001 Coupé 2.0 Turbo | 1999 LS 1.6 16v
Other Vauxhalls: 2001 Vectra 1.8 16v| 2003 Vectra GSi 3.2 V6 | 2005 Signum CDTi 150
I liked mine so much I sprayed it red.

6th Vauxhall (4th Astra) in 10 years...plus a couple of other sheds...
matte black gets my vote.
I have never liked V grills but they do look right on the mk5 (H), I agree with the others paint it for now untill some more convincing products become avilable
Leave No Man Behind.
colour code it and see how you like it,
wot you gott 2 loose, its all down to personal taste imo,
*!Arden Blue GSi!*
he came, he saw, HE CONQUERED
I say colour code it.
However I think that the open mouth'd look works weel on very aggressive style MK5's. I think you'd need some huge wheels and bits a peices of body kits to really pull it off.
I wouldn't usually suggest it either but Joe have you thought about light brows for the car?
Its a jam thing
