    boost not holding

right i have an astrag gsi mk4 with a vxr turbo fmic powerpipe iridium plugs airbox mod inc massive air intake pipe and a cs2 remap , over the past month or two i have noticed a drop in power when i floor it in first or second it boosts up to about 18psi then drops to 15psi but looking at the revs when it reaches 4000rpm it just drops right down to 10psi and holds 10psi it should be holding 15psi, and its the same in all the gears but it holds longer in the higher gears as the revs take longer to build up but still drops and holds 10psi

tried changing the boost selenoid but nothing

is the actuator set correctly? Do a search on how to set them up it's not hard and may be the problem as you have changed the soleniod

no smoke from it at all its only been on there a few months vxr unit.

i tried bypassing the boost selenoid just run a pipe straight from the actuator to the turbo but left the selenoid plugged in and went for a test run and it was flying hiting 18psi and holding 15psi tight was like a new car but then spanner light came on so put back to normal so i know it can hold the boost so must be sumin wrong sensor or maybe map has freaked out???
