    Irmscher smoked side repeaters???

I have seen smoked side repeaters on peoples cars, were these made by Irmscher?
When i had my Calibra i had clear MK4 Astra side repeaters fitted, when i bought them the guy at the parts desk said there were some smoked ones available but they were £?? so decided to stick with the cheaper option at the time.
I called Vauxhall today and the guy said there isnt an option to buy smoked repeaters for the Astra, so im confused. If not ill buy some from elsewhere other than Vauxhall.
    Thanks

    Yep, LMF sell them.

    Before:

To remove the old one, you need a small screwdriver behind it to leaver it out

Give the area a good clean to remove the crap

Yep, the LMF kit is a good one, as it even comes with the required orange bulbs. Really sets the car off if you've got tinted front and back lights.

Nope, just came up in the for sale section. Can't remember who I got them off, but they only had the one set IIRC.

Irmscher do list tinted side reps for the Mk4 (i 1212041), but they are the oval ones like on the Mk3 etc.

However they are crap - the tint is a greeny/grey and nothing like the bluey/grey on their rear lights.

The LMF ones are far better

The common LMF variety aren't made by Irmscher. As Ffoeg said, the Irmscher ones are oval. Didn't know about the crappy colour though.

I once asked about them at a dealer parts desk and they were convinced that Irmscher didn't make smoked repeaters for the mk4 astra. They couldn't find them when they looked them up either, though I've since seen an Irmscher parts catalogue and they are listed in there.

Anyway, those LMF ones do the job nicely. Same as standard, just tinted.
