    Head Gasket Gone

It looks like the head gasket has gone in my car just 5k after have a new engine fitted anyways, engine cap is turing white and head tank is drinking water like theres not tomorrow so i pretty sure its the gasket.

Can someone tell me what price/labour times im looking at for the gasket kit + head skimmed + labour

Is there anything else worth getting skimmed while the head is off also?

Is the VXR gasket any stronger?

    Why is my car crap?

    Cheers for any replys

Replace with the vxr gasket which is metal - and a lot stronger. Can't help you on the price/labour though unfortunately.

if you have covered only 5k since an engine change you must be in warranty. If not get trading standards invloved. I had a free engine from a garage 20 years ago using them
