    Front discs & pads

    As anyone got a step by step guide on how to change front discs & pads as i have never done em before always got someone to do em for me. Thought it was about time i done em myself. Any advice would be much appreciated

    Easiest way is to invest in a Haynes manual - all the info u need is in there.

    Rip off merchants like Halfords can sell u one for a little over £20...or if u wanna be frugal then have a look on ebay.

    The money u save on the brakes alone will be more than the cost of the manual itself.

    A good trolley jack & axle stands is a must....sets can be had for bargain prices these days - just shop around.

    Have u got 4 or 5 stud hubs? Genuine disc/pad kits can be had from Vauxhall for about £60 or a pattern kit for approx £40.

    Part numbers from Vauxhall:

    4 stud 256mm discs & pads kit: 93175456
    5 stud 280mm discs & pads kit: 9117678

    I've got a 4 stud. got my discs & pads from my local spares shop £60. had a look on amazon can get used manual for £11, so i will get 1 there...... Thanks !!!!!!!!!!
