    Wobbly wheel problems

Ok recently got some SRI turbo alloys

they where shaking very badly when i ent over 60mph, so had them balanced up and they were out 65grams on drivers side 45 grams on passenger side.

Whilst the lad was doing them he assured me they were not buckled and tbh they did run very very straight

So all well i thought., Hell no

the wobble is not as bad but as soon as i hit 70 and slightly over its terrible the whole car is shaking and the car veers to the left also.

So any ideas? the car was fine on the other rims i had, do the rear maybe need doing>

I take back my offer of taking the alloys now

Sure they're buckled, and it's not the tyres doing something strange. I had elcheapo tyres that wouldn't balance. They deformed at speed or something wierd like that.

think the tyres are Fulda so cheap but not unheard of

the ones i have had balanced arent buckled at all rears havent been looked at so i may get them seen too also for rebalancing

good thing is if i cant cure them Keith who i swopped with will swop my old rims back

i had similar problems when i got new tyres.
got them balanced 3 different times from 3 different companys (including kwik fit)and they still wobbled. finally found a company near me that had a fancy new tyre changing machine that fixed the problem.
bye the way i dont like star trek

have you got any other wheels you can chuck on the rears and take for a test drive to see if it still shakes? would seem to me to be the easiest way to check without paying someone again

    Hi Spok,
I've had this problem the last twice I've replaced tyres, eventually settled for the least bad (but far from perfect) balancing job - which is pretty s**t service really from so called professional outlets!
Who did you find with this fancy machine as I feel a need to visit.
    Ta
