    nova 60mm springs on astra

    as title says, i have a astra sri turbo hatchback, will the springs of a nova/corsa fit??

    they will be the totaly wrong weight and your car will be dangerous to drive they dont say nova carsa and astra on the box do they just buy the ones that are designed for the SRiTs weight
    also just to note most recomend upratted dampers when going for more than 40mm

    Just because it's been done doesn't mean it correct. Get the right springs for your car/engine size

    as already been said, dont do it

    my coupe turbo used to have springs on it not designed for it and the car handled terrible and look apauling,there was at least a 2" gap above front wheels and you could hardly see the tyres on the rears they was so low, I have recently replaced them with 30mm Eibachs and the car handles and sits sweet now,

    if you've got a Sri Turbo i dare say it has cost you a few bob as they are not cheap its really not worth knackaring your car up for the sake of spending something like £115 for a proper set of Eibach Springs or even less if you get a cheaper make coz if you fit the nova springs in 6 months at the MOT time its going to likely cost you more than £115 for 4 new shock absorbers as they would all be bolloxed by then.

    Ner dont fit nova springs just cut your current ones with an angle grinder init mate :|
