Get your bidder to make a bid on your item at your agreed price, YOU then choose to end your item, one of the options then offered to you is to sell to the current highest bidder. Job done!!

yep get them to bid the correct amount, then go to the help option and find where it says to end the auction and sell to current highest bidder, less hassle and will save a few pence too.

would you not need someone to bid against him tho so it went up to that price?

just cancel all the bids & remove listing... and when asked why, explain that either the item was damaged or isn't for sale... then go to "relist item" and set it as a BUY IT NOW auction only. Then just agree with your buyer when he wants the auction to start, so he can go on straight away and buy it before anyone else

    cheers guys,

All sorted as no one had bid on the item we were able to do the first suggestion. the buyer just had to add an extra £15 to the winning bid as it would only let hm put a bid that matched my starting amount

    Cheers for your help guys

You should have said you had 0 bids... if no-one had bid, you could just have edited the listing so there was a higher starting price and then ended it when he made the first bid
